Now, I know this seems to be a somewhat deep topic to discuss, but, if you've made it through the Motherhood posts, you should realize by now that being serious is not one of my fortes.
In this themed "week" I will be discussing various things which make me shake my head and wonder what the hell this world is coming to. Some of it will seem appropriate, and some of it will seem completely unrelated. I understand that "flip flops" may seem like a pretty innocuous and unrelated topic, but bear with me, it will all fit in, somehow.
This topic is more about our self respect, our respect for others, our lowered expectations, and what we now consider acceptable in society. I do admit that I am old fashioned to an extent (I mention it in one of my posts), and some of my views may be a little 1950, but, too bad. It's the risk you take for clicking.
